The Museum of Cultural Arts, Houston (MOCAH) worked with the Kaleidoscope Charter School to implement the Kaleidoscope Fine Arts Initiative. MOCAH facilitated in-school workshops, four days per week for 1 hour per workshop, 8 workshops each day. The lead artist, Oshofu Intersect, worked with approximately 20-25 students per workshop. The program extended for six weeks, beginning November 5, 2007-December 14, 2007. Through the KFAI, MOCAH infused art, math and Sacred Geometry into a project-based learning experience for students at the Kaleidoscope School. The results of MOCAH’s efforts yielded a series of student designed and produced works of art reflecting the cultural diversity of our society.
